Luxury Sessions at Christie Conyer Studio Fill Quickly, Here’s What to Know
If you’re considering booking a boudoir session, one of the first questions you might have is:
“When should I book it?”
Whether you’re gifting your photos or giving this experience to yourself, timing matters, and at Christie Conyer Studio, planning ahead ensures that you get the full, luxurious, low-stress experience you deserve.
Here’s everything you need to know about booking your boudoir session at the right time, including insider tips, seasonal insights, and why our calendar fills so quickly.

1. The Ideal Timeline: 6–8 Weeks Before You Need Your Photos
At Christie Conyer Studio, your images are delivered as custom wall art, heirloom albums, and curated digital galleries. These take time and we never rush the process.
For most clients, the ideal booking window is:
6–8 weeks before you want to have your photos and physical products in hand.
That allows for:
- Session date selection
- Professional editing & retouching
- Viewing & ordering appointment
- Album design + production
- Delivery or pickup
If you’re gifting your album for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or holiday, be sure to account for that time.

2. My Studio Calendar Books Out 1–3 Months in Advance
Because each session at Christie Conyer Studio is custom, private, and fully styled, I only take a limited number of clients per month.
Most clients book their date 1–3 months ahead, especially for high-demand seasons like:
- Valentine’s Day
- Mother’s Day
- Anniversaries (spring & fall are popular)
- Holiday gifting (October–December fills early)
Pro tip: The studio only photographs sessions Monday through Friday. Most clients take a day off work so that they can enjoy a relaxed, pampering day just for themselves.

3. Planning a Signature Look? Book Early for Styling Support
If you’re envisioning something editorial, curated, and polished, I’ll help you style your wardrobe in a way that flatters your body and aligns with my dark & moody aesthetic.
Booking early allows us to:
- Finalize wardrobe details
- Coordinate with Ashley Tolman Beauty for professional hair & makeup
- Prep for your favorite set styles like The Signature Sheet Set or Bodyscapes
This experience is so much more than “just photos”; it’s a transformation. And it’s worth the planning.

4. Nervous? The Extra Time Helps You Prepare Confidently
If you’re feeling a little unsure (which is totally normal!), having extra lead time means:
- You can prioritize rest and self-care leading up to the shoot.
- You can shop for wardrobe pieces that make you feel incredible.
- You can mentally prepare for an experience that’s all about seeing yourself in a new way.
Most clients say the time between booking and shooting helped them build excitement, and that confidence showed up in every frame.

5. Last-Minute Booking? I’ve Got You (Sometimes)
While early booking is always recommended, I do occasionally have last-minute openings, especially during slower months.
If you’re hoping for a quick turnaround or forgot to plan ahead for a gift, just reach out here and I’ll do my best to make it happen.
